Who we are
Licence Plans (licenceplans.co.uk) prepares scale drawings for licence applications. We work remotely with businesses across England. Contact: hello@licenceplans.co.uk.
What we collect
When you ask for a plan we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, the premises postcode, and the details, measurements and photos you send us.
When we contact businesses first, we use business information that is publicly available, such as a business name and address from public registers.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare your plan and send it to you (to take steps towards and perform a contract with you).
- To keep records of the work and payments (legal obligation).
- To tell businesses about our service where the law allows it (legitimate interests). You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the business: website hosting (Vercel), email and file storage (Google), and payment providers you choose to pay with (for example PayPal or bank transfer). Some of these store data outside the UK under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep job records for 6 years for accounting purposes. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 12 months. Your plan's measurements are kept so we can update it when your licence is renewed, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to marketing, by emailing hello@licenceplans.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
